Show me the way

Dear Father of mercy, please show me the way,
to grow even closer to you each new day,
and Lord in my life, should I just start to stray,
please hold me and guide me and show me the way.

My heart is so full of thanksgiving to you,
just show me through prayer what you want me to do.
May your Spirit please help me with others to share,
show me words I can tell them to know you are there.

Just show me the way I can work more for you,
may my faith grow still stronger in all that I do.
Each day that I live, I learn more about you,
hoping and praying my love will shine through.

For you, my dear Father rule all of my day,
and I walk step by step, as you show me the way.
Your love never changes, it never will die,
for when you gave your Son, there was no question why.

Christ Jesus our Saviour, our wonderful friend,
is with us forever, His love has no end.
As I praise you, and bless you in prayer every day,
I give thanks to you Father, that you show me the way.
